In the dynamic world of staffing, staying ahead of the curve requires a blend of technology, personalized service, and a deep understanding of client needs. We had the opportunity to sit down with the Head of Enterprise Relationships at Job&Talent to delve into daily operations, industry evolution, client relationships, and future outlook of the staffing industry.

As Head of Enterprise Relationships, what does a typical day look like for you?

My day begins with a morning kickoff meeting with my team. We review our Enterprise client list and brainstorm strategies to determine where to focus our efforts for the day. The Enterprise team oversees the top 20 clients in the Job&Talent US portfolio, ensuring each client is satisfied and looking for opportunities to expand our services beyond our current offerings. Our routine involves a dynamic mix of direct client engagement — whether face-to-face, over the phone, or through team meetings. We explore our clients' evolving needs and look for ways to enhance their staffing solutions across multiple sites.

How have you seen the staffing industry evolve over the past years?

The biggest evolution for the staffing industry has been the expansion of technology. When I started 25 years ago at a major $5 billion executive staffing firm, we used to manage paper applications in filing cabinets. Now, with the development of advanced applicant tracking systems (ATS), the industry has made tremendous progress. With the launch of the Job&Talent Business app, we’re on the brink of another shift, signaling a new era of efficiency and effectiveness in staffing solutions.

What approach do you take to understand clients’ needs and provide the best staffing solutions?

Establishing and nurturing client relationships requires time and effort to thoroughly understand each client, their key decision-makers, and their unique business dynamics. We use monthly and quarterly business reviews, along with continuous communication, to identify their needs and tailor our staffing solutions. In order to provide clients with the services they need, you must know what is important to them and where their pains are. Building trust is essential for providing effective solutions.

What are some of the main challenges that clients face when it comes to workforce management?

Clients often struggle with workforce management due to a lack of crucial data, challenging key decision-making such as evaluating employee performance, deciding on investments, or allocating overtime. For years, there hasn’t been a tool to measure these metrics effectively. The Job&Talent Business app addresses this by providing the necessary data for clients to make informed, data-driven decisions about their workforce.

What kind of support does Job&Talent offer clients, from in-person service to tech infrastructure?

At Job&Talent, our commitment to service and support sets us apart. Unlike some competitors who may shy away from challenges, we are always ready to assist, whether things are sailing smoothly or hitting rough patches. We prioritize in-person interactions to truly understand our clients' needs and offer tailored support. Additionally, our technology provides real-time data, such as attendance records and supervisor feedback, empowering clients to make informed decisions and improve their operations.

How can temporary staffing solutions impact a company’s bottom line?

The impact of temporary staffing solutions on a company is multifaceted, providing the product or service functions effectively and adds tangible value. Temporary staffing solutions can ensure operational efficiency and consistent quality, which are paramount for sustained profitability. Choosing the right staffing company to manage your workforce  is crucial, as it directly affects a company’s bottom line.
