Forklift Operator - Southaven
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with a leading apparel manufacturing company in Southaven. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
Shift patterns:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday (Weekends and OT as needed)
Pay rates:
- 20.00 USD hourly
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
- Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods and inventory control.
- Previous experience with forklifts, pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
- Ability to read and understand orders and count products accurately.
- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift.
Role for Forklift Operator:
- Safely operate industrial trucks and machinery in an industrial setting.
- Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery throughout the facility.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
- Control levers and operating devices to transport and stack materials securely.
- Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient, and safe outcomes.
