Forklift operator - New Albany
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift operator to work with a leading company in the home fragrance sector in New Albany. You will be working for the client in New Albany.
Shift patterns
- Hours are Monday through Friday 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Overtime as required
Pay rates
- 21.00 - 23.00 USD hourly
Requirements
Essential requirements for Forklift operator:
- Knowledge of Logistical Supply Chain methods, inventory control with previous Stand Up Forklift experience
- Experience with pallet wrap machines, reach trucks, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment
- Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers
- Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule
- Must have dependable transportation to and from job site
- Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary
Desirable requirements for Forklift operator:
- Turret truck experience a nice to have but not required.
Your role for Forklift operator
- Operate stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
- Utilize pallet wrap machines and other material handling equipment to prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory control by reading orders and counting products across various storage layers.
