Requirements
Essential requirements for Maintenance Tech I:
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
- Ability to work with high and low voltage, AC and DC
- Experience working effectively under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
- Highly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starter
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance is a plus
- Conversational Spanish skills a plus
- Experienced with hand and power tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Experience in using Microsoft Outlook and Word programs
Desirable requirements for Maintenance Tech I:
- 2-4 years experience with facility maintenance in a medium to large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
- 2-4 years experience working around conveyors, pneumatics, AC/DC motor skills and industrial electrical systems.
- Multi-task in a fast paced work environment that has a strong customer focus.
- Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with co-workers and managers in a cooperative constructive manner.
Role for Maintenance Tech I
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment and conveyor systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete facility repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Microsoft Office tools.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
