jobandtalent is a 2.0 online recruiting platform. It allows candidates to discover the potential of the their social network contacts in order to access the best job opportunities. jobandtalent users will be able to see which of their Facebook friends work in companies which they are interested in. Users will easily be able to get recommendations, enhancing their options and access to better jobs.
The jobandtalent mission is to help qualified professionals discover new opportunities through an approach based on 3 pillars:
- Social factor. jobandtalent utilises the power of social networks to source employment.
- Accurate match between job openings and candidates. Job applicants only receive notification of job openings which best fit their background, studies and career. jobandtalent users do not have to search for offers, but rather the offers find the appropriate user. This is similar to a headhunter but replicated as an online model. jobandtalent provides a comfortable environment for passive job seekers.
- Transparent information. Greater transparency about the selection process, business activity and market movements.
jobandtalent was founded in 2009 by three young Spanish entrepreneurs and today has over 100,000 registered users and more than 1,000 leading employers (Google, BBVA, Deloitte, Indra, L'Oreal, Management Solutions, Iberdrola, Indra, Toyota, Accenture, Ericsson, EADS, Walt Disney, etc.), including almost half of companies in the Iberian Index. jobandtalent is growing fast and will launch an ambitious expansion strategy in England, Mexico and Brazil in 2012.
